I've let Rosie know that both of you are pleased to hear that she's home. Thanks smiley - smiley I'll see if I can get her to pop back to leave a message for you, but she's not been out of hospital long so is still adjusting to life back at home.

Glad you're doing a little better Jenny. Sorry to hear that you're struggling with your A Level work though smiley - hug Have you spoken to your teachers? Mine were really understanding and helpful when I developed ME.

Sorry to hear you're struggling with your A Levels too Bex, you are expected to do a lot of work in sixth form and I can understand anyone, even those who don't have health problems, finding it difficult. I really struggled at sixth form, but like I said above, speaking to my teachers really helped. That might be worth a try for you too as I'm sure they'll have helped other pupils as you wont be alone in finding it so tiring smiley - hug Luckily I finished sixth form in the summer, so that's one less thing for me to worry about at the moment smiley - winkeye

    Take care,

Rosie had to return to hospital for a week and a half, but is home again now and will hopefully remain at home for longer this time. Before she returned to hospital I let her know that you were thinking of her and she said she'd try to pop back on here to update you all when she could.

    Hello!

Sorry I haven’t been in here for absolutely ages. Like Mysti has said (thankyouuu!), I’ve been in hospital for 5 weeks in total. My weight got too dangerously low to be an outpatient, so had to be admitted on September 28th. I was in hospital and tube fed for 3 & a half weeks. It was expected that having better nutrition and having stretched my stomach a little, I wouldn’t find eating normal food made me so sick. Unfortunately that wasn’t the case and eating normal food once again made me very poorly, so after about 10 days at home, I had to be readmitted. I was in for just a week & a half this time being tube fed as whilst I was there I was taught how to do the feeds myself, so was discharged on feeds. My stomach can’t tolerate more than a tiny bit of normal food, and even that makes me a little poorly. After 2-3 months of tube feeding, we’ll try gradually reintroducing proper food back into my diet once I’m back up at a normal weight. Hopefully after that amount of time, my stomach might be functioning a little better.

Thankyou for your kind messages Bex & Jenny and thankyou yet again for updating on here for me, Mysti. We know each other via a support group for ME now, so chat very regularly away from here, like Mysti said before. smiley - smiley

How are you all doing? I hope you’re keeping as well as possible and A level work is going well – I hear A2s are really hard! I’m not doing anything education-wise this year, it’s all been put on hold.

    Take care!
    Rosie xx

Glad to hear you're back out of hospital Rosie, and thanks mysti for keeping us in the know.

A2s are hard at the moment, I'm trying to deal with some other stuff going on. I'm getting treatment and that to help me out but its just a bit of a pain trying to juggle it haha!

But I shall not complain, I know you guys have it so tough and I hope you're managing. Keep happy guys, sorry I haven't posted in a while. Let us know how things progress smiley - smiley
