Is here, for all thoughts on trouser news, trousers in song, songs about trousers, songs mentioning trousers. And trousers.
To quote the goodies
"I always where my trousis In Public Houses Or else there's nowhere to put the change".
If this thread doesn't fulfil your trouser needs then feel free to start an Unofficial Trouser Thread.

Don't Holly Johnson's "Americanos" wear blue jeans and chinos?
Must be a bit hard for them to walk about with two pairs of trousers on...

What, "Do the Bump?" I suppose it's very hard to visualise the Bay City Rollers without thinking of their taste in trousers... so-me.coolcats.fr/wp...

Ah, the trouser in song. Surely enough material there for a bank holiday themed show. Or at least for a lengthy academic paper at the University of Helsinki. I'm tempted to submit something myself on themes of loss and alienation in Donald Where's Your Troosers. Compare and contrast with Kevin Coyne's plaintive Mona, Where's My Trousers and the brutally confrontational Who Tore Your Trousers James, by Ivor Cutler.

Jeans On (David Dundas? rings a bell).
Posh trousers tomorrow, off to a Scottish Government do in Glasgow about offshore renewable energy sources.
Got to remember my bike clips; usual skinny black jeans don't need them......

Having read all the trouser-related posts suddenly the kilt looks a far more attractive proposition.

When I Kneed You - Leo Sayer. Okay, so it's part of the body but the trouser is usual involved.
Can we mention dungarees in this thread? Are they trousers? I've sought clarification from the Department for Trousers, Whitehall, London but the letter keeps coming back with 'Not known at this address' written on it.

I think the EU ruling was that dungarees are trousers but overalls are not. Though this ruling may be meaningless if a future government facilitates an opt-out.

Hmm - "Leiderhosen" or approx "unfortunate trousers" (made-up word!) as opposed to "Lederhosen". Should we see these as being like Wallace's "Wrong Trousers" or like Baldrick's trousers in "Blackadder"? automated evil robot trousers or a "Pandora's Box" of all the evils in the world? We should be told...
