Great to hear The Seduction Of Ingmar Bergman on the radio. Shame one of the songs was almost totally cut out for the news though

Having listened to the Swedish version of this Sparks masterpiece on Sverige Radio, I could hardly wait for the English version. Kudos to 6music for airing this!
I'm glad that the Maels had the occasion to comment on this musical for what it is - a delicate and powerful homage to the Radio, to those wonderful things that aren't seen, but only heard on the radio. Oh, dear. Their interview made my day.

Have you heard the questions being asked by the studio audience. Christ Almighty, I'm surprised they don't want to know what their favourite colour is. Nice to see Ron and Russ slagging off playlists, though.

How wonderful was that? The lead actor's voice is very much part of the overall effect. By the way, has anyone picked up on one of the autograph hunters being called Woody...?

Sparks once again prove that they are leading the way for all of pop music to follow. The Seduction of Ingmar was brilliant. Can't wait to now buy it. An amazing piece of modern music. Thanks 6Music for playing this. Incredible!!

I was prepared to hate this but I thought it was great, very listenable and compared favourably to a piece by more "serious" artists such as Philip Glass, John Adams or Steve Reich. I really enjoyed this show, great choice Stuart

It wasn't my cup of tea at all and was the first FZ I've turned off since the `long tracks' one a couple of years ago, but I appreciate this is teh sort of thing FZ should be doing.
I'd love a FZ devoted to dance/techno/dub/world music sometime.

"I'd love a FZ devoted to dance/techno/dub/world music sometime."
Isn't there a programme immediately following FZ dedicated to this sort of music?
(Not my style so I couldn't tell you whether it's any good or not.)
