Liverpool deserved to win this, Momo was immense and went for everything in midfield. Good to see Crouch get the winner.

as a Chelsea fan I'm totally devastated. Liverpool didn't deserve to win AT ALL.
Yet again the stronger side LOST.

didnt watch it, but from what ive heard liverpool deserved to win so fair play to them.
being realistic though, it was no more than a high profile friendly

The result was unimportant but it's always nice to beat Chelsea It'll be interesting to see what Mourinho says after the match. Oh, and John Terry - he's behind you!

This game has never been any indication of how the season will pan out. Really, nothing can be read into it.
It will have no bearing whatsoever on the coming season - espcially as it was two teams who have come up against each other close to 10 times in the last two seasons.

Chelsea were clearly lacking match sharpness. They would have comfortably got the better of this Liverpool side otherwise.

Decent run out for the players , Chelsea's makeshift defence was exactly that. The real deal starts next week.
