With the sale on Ruud (10mil,) the great deal John Obi Mikel (12mil) and the funds made available by the Glazers (20mil).

Fergie has plenty of funds available to make another two top quality signings following the signing of Carrick. So.....Don't Panic!

I heard Man Utd are in for the other Ronaldo.

Ferguson stated: "He's really good, I think we should sign him because he has scored a lot of goals in the World Cup, I saw him score against Ghana and it was a really good finish, he looks in really good shape. I also think having two Ronaldo's might confuse our opponents, they won't know which one is which lol".

Can Man Utd clinch a UEFA Cup spot this season?

Liverpool fan in peace. I have been interested in your lack of delving into the transfer market so far, but I expect Fergie to start spending (after Carrick) now as he even more money burning in his pocket. Thing is who will he go for? Another striker? Central midfielder?.....we can all but guess.

I heard Arsenal just paid 3million to get rid of Campbell. That's 6million in the last 2 years! Could buy Ronaldo for free!biggrin

I still cant get over the stupidity of buying Carrick for 10m+. One of the contenders in the title race just shot themselves in the foot, those funds could have been used to a far better extent elsewhere.

Panic!!

You have to sell before you can buy, why else would the Carrick Saga have gone on for so long.
Face it Mans, you are a financially broken club, with your famous 20-30M yearly transfer buget now being paid out in interest.

A vast amount of hardened Manc fans (and shareholders) said at the time of the take over that this was the beginning of the end, but they were classed as over-reactionary scare mongerers.

Top players know you are slipping in mediocrity, and so will not join you...

Lets see when the window closes, but you were all warned...

Joaquin?

Why would you want to buy another Right Winger?

Is Ronnie on his way out? It can't be Park, you need the Asian shirt sales market!!

Hargreaves you could do with. How much do you rekon? 8-10M??

we came 2nd with no midfield and now we have a much better one. ruud leaving is a sad sight but we have saha and i know he will come up with the goods. he will get 40 games this year and 18 goals will be a good return and one that he is more than capable of. i also expect rooney to score 20 odd this year so there is little reason to be all sad

ronnie can play on the left as can juaquin and he is better than park who struggled a little last year, i hope he can came good for us if we dont get a winger.
hargreaves could be bought for 7m tops i think and would give us a lot more variety and steel which is still what what we need a bit now but carrick will provide that

Saha? I was sh!t scared when I thought he was coming to Everton!!! Saha is NOT a good player - he takes FAR too many chances and misses perfectly good opportunities - including open goals!!!
