We can't win, a demonstration outside the ground, no money, a manager who insists on picking players woefully out of form, a chairman who prefers Rugby.... how can we turn this all around.

No doubt most of my fellow Terriers will say "...by sacking Peter Jackson...". Understandably this is not a view I share. I agree that he doesn't get it right all the time, his team selection leaves a lot to be desired at the moment, but I think if he swallows his pride and drops the likes of Nathan Clarke, Mark Hudson and Andy Booth, apologises to Tosh and gets him back in the side, maybe even a start for John McCombe, and definately have Pav and Luke Beckett up front then the results will come and up the league we will go.

I agree with what you say entirely apart from 1 point.

I DO also believe that as yet we dont need to sack Jacko, a couple of wins and we are back up in the play off zone and it is early days yet. Although his subs are sometimes stupid!

However, I personally feel that Pav and Boothy are our best combo up front and I think that we dont win anything without Boothy in the side. He is also a great player defensively. I dont think we can drop Pav either at the moment so I think that Beckett is rightfully on the bench.

TOWN FANS - KEEEEEPPPP THE FAITH!

Rubbish

The following season is going to be difficult by dramatically losing in the playoffs last season. Peter Jackson has done nothing but good at Town and sacking him again will be another big mistake.

For once, just keep the faith. He might resurrect the season by beating The Citizens.

Sack Jacko?
NO

I would drop Nathan Clark now McIntosh is back.
There is nothing for Jacko to apologise for.
Jacko told Mac that Clarke and Mirf would be his starting center backs and Mac asked if he could go out on loan to keep match fit.
There was no argument as rumour mungerers have been suggesting.
Macombe isn't match fit yet after his injury.
Hudson has had two decent games now and Collins was terrible on Saturday. We have no-one else tho pushing for a place.
Boothy adds some spine to the team which isn't there with Pav and Beckett.
Beckett deserved to be dropped as he was lazier than Pav.

Are you Southampton a year ago?

I'm glad you all seem to be agreeing with me about NOT sacking Jacko. I expected some to say the opposite. For me, firing Peter will achieve nothing - a new manager would still have the same players, and even less money, so what would be the point.

...and its not Keep The Faith anymore its "...Believe The Faith..." biggrin

I think Jacko is a good manager but I think his time is up at the Galpharm. I think my team have more problems, we have money but are not spending and a manager who is clueless.

Plus you are not in the relegation zone.

Good luck for the rest of the season, looking forward to coming over to the Glapharm.

Up the pool

Think he has real potential if he stays off the booze and gets a bit stronger. Jacko admires him which is why he always keeps him. Went on loan to Torquay last year and apparently was very good but got injured and had to come back. Hopefully he will do well. Although I dont think many Town fans will actaully agree with that Sparts sadface

On the McIntosh situation, Jackson hit McIntosh on the training ground which is why he went out on loan. McIntosh started arguing that it was the midfield and not the defence's fault for our loss at Gillingham.

I obviously cant gaurantee that 100% but McIntosh did have a black eye and when GTF came to a Supporters Metting which I attend he said that all he could say was that it happened at the club. Think what you want to think but why wouldnt he say more? what and where In club?

cool

Why you think that about Tosh Martin? I am no rumour spreader but I do think that the situation is very very dodgy indeed. You honestly believe that he got a black eye but he went because he wouldnt be first choice!? Personally, I feel he is our best centre back and best defender behind Holdsworth!

McAliskey looked good in pre-season but, for me, this is his last chance. If he doesn't buck his ideas up by the end of the season - get rid.

Same again with Town fans obssessed with City

Then again, some Bradford fans are rubbing in it more and come October 7th, I have a bad feeling that it will smack us right in the face.

Could do. You never know in big games such as Hudds and Bradford. League Table and Form book are thrown out of the window and sometimes the football is dire! Hope it does come back at you though laugh
