Are you going to Frankfurt? This is the place to share your plans for your trip, recommendations for what to do and where to go, and and views on the city and its newly-upgraded stadium. Frankfurt's Commerzbank Arena plays host to England's first World Cup fixture, against Paraguay on 10 June, as well as three other group games and a quarter-final. Well for my money you can stick your newly-upgraded stadium - I for one don't really go for watching football in the shadow of some giant spider. It's not even as if the grass is any good either!
Following today's game other things which might be usefully got rid of would include German TV cameramen, Lawro & Motson (I can't stand a month of this), the Sven Goran Erikson half-time team talk (I assume there is one), Mexican referees and Owen Hargreaves. There are others, but that will do for a start.

The stadium was absolutely horrible. Whenever the ball was in the upper third (from the BBC point of view) I couldn't see the Paraguay players, and the contrast they put on the cameras made it seem like it was nighttime! I was shocked when I looked at the BBC photos and saw it looked light!
And what is the point of that pig ugly thing on the roof. All it seemed to do was create a horrible shadow and get in the way of Robinson's (rather impressive) kick.
And don't get me started on the ref...

Obviously they thought you should have posted it on the racing boards, mate - same as these crummy threads should be on the Travel MB (except that they don't want 'em any more than we do).
Oh, and to stay on topic, I promise I'll post loads of interesting stuff about Frankfurt if ever I go there.......

Frankfurt is a great city , with facilities at least 10 years ahead of the UK. Open your eyes to a friendly cosmopolitan place.

There is O'reillys just opposite the Hauptbahnhof. Probably gonna be teeming with fans though but should be a good atmosphere. The Fox and Grapes is nicer and closeby - ask directions in O'reillys !
