Hello all

This is the thread for your reaction to Germany's win on penalties against Argentina.

What are your thoughts on the game? Can Germany go on to win the tournament? Is this good news for England and others - Argentina, the team so many fancied to win it, going out?

We want your opinions.

winkeye

Great game and I think the right team won. Argentina's negative approach lost them the game. Germany could have played better, don't know they pulled out Klaus though.

I knew this game would end in penalties...

MOM Lehmann!!!!

bye bye Argentina, where is Maradona today?

I'm loving the result. Don't know that I loved the game too much, but for once I was on the side of the winning team!

You'd have been a fool to bet against the Germans on penalties.

LEHMAN is the word! Anybody who doubted him should now swallow their pride and accept he's good. The match was boring though, as expected. At least my bet of a Germany final is on course.

Disgraceful scenes at the end - anyone know what sparked it off?

Argentina dersrved to lose - too negative after scoring their goal. No Messi but Cruz? Expect Pekerman to be slaughtered.
