Both teams were trying to emulate the boring football England play.

First time I have watched a game and wanted both teams to loose.

That was dire.

That's why we love Football.

Real football fans would have appreciated that game for the gritty tension it provided, now Ukraine are just 2 wins away from a World Cup final on their debut!

Good game in my eyes, genuine football.

come on!, the match wasn't that bad. Both teams were just playing too tight.

How the commentators spoke about boths teams was just not right, i don't remember England showing true beauty so far in the WC. whistle

Are Switzerland the first team ever to get knocked out of the World Cup having never conceded a goal?

Finally the World got to see a few minutes enough for some shades from the best young player in the world today! in Artem Milevskiy!!

Future european player potential there, and any team that can snitch this guy from dynamo kiev would be one of the luckiest in the world.

Only thing messi got on him is his pace. but overall the best talent. If you didn't know him yet (shame on you!) remember this guys name.

Nice to know there's a team worse than England at taking penalties.

But what a diabolical game. I'd sooner have been creosoting a fence with Alan Shearer.

I suggested a topic : Blatter better keep very quiet after the Koreans had the ref's blowing for them against Portugal, Spain and Italy...

It has been suggested that in exchange he got political support in the elections before the world cup.

What a poor match. They should both be sent home, none deserved to win. That sort of negative play is ont welcome in a knock out competition and Ukraine's quarter final spot should be given to Mexico as they were far better. Alas it doesn't work like that. I'm glad the Swiss are gone, the most dull team at the World Cup without a doubt. Still, goiong out without conceding a goal must be a first.

I cant believe what allan shearer was saying
who does he think he is.
granted the game was a bit boring but is not like england games are much better than this games, atleast both teams dont have high calibre players, whats england's excuse for playing boring football all the time
