Yeah Amazing, two penalties and a sending off may have helped a little.
Serbia are the superior side, 11 vs 11 without the corrupt decisions it was 2-0 to Serbia after 20 minutes.
Shame FIFA can't let African football be disgraced ahead of the 2010 World Cup.
Shame for Serbia though, having to be cheated out of it like that.

I missed this match but I watch the other 2 Ivory Coast matches as well as Ghana v. Czech Rep. These teams were two of the most exciting in the tournament. Love the way they play; put IC in France's group and they would walk it.

Ivory Coast did very well not only in this match but also vs. Argentina and vs. Nederlands. If they weren't in Group C or E, I wouldn't have surprised if they had gone thru to the second round. Hats off to Ivory Coast despite of the unfortunate of the result.  This is a reply to this message

just shows how WEAK European qualification is I guess
Serbs concede 1 goal in qualifying, 1 against Holland then 9 against S Anerican/African teams
maybe they should reduce number of Euro teams at world cup or join Europe with Oceania to have tougher games?

Gotta feel a bit sorry for the Serves but am very happy that Ivory Coast won, cos I'll be getting the hefty bonus for the World Daq game! Well done to both teams--you guys put Argentina and Holland to shame today!

To be honest CIV were not awarded many blatant penalties against Holland.So If a team can claim "we were cheated" It would be more them than S&M.As for Serbia they were impressive during the qualifications but they didn't have the level during this championships (a defeat 6-0 against Argentina highlighted this)Sad but true.
