Looking at the African Nations teams, they again look pretty strong to me but only in certain areas of the field. eg Ghana - good midfield but not much else. Ivory Coast - a strong spine down the middle but lacking a litle "flesh on the bones".

What would a combined African Nations team look like?

Ideas for players:
Tizie
Trabelsi
Kolo Toure
Samuel Kuffour
Eboue
Yaya Toure
Zakora
Essien
Appiah
Drogba
Adebayor

Admittedly Kuffour was carp last night. I don't really know any other decent African CBs (Kolo Toure apart).

Who would be the best suggestion?

Also, Trabelsi would be playing on the left when he is a right-back. Who's the best leftie?

If you were to include nations that didn't make the World Cup this time around, Eto of Cameroon would obviously be class.

stick eto'o in ivory coast and they would beat 90% of teams. they keep the ball as well as anyone, they have flair in abundance. they create chances all they need to do is finnish them.

GK: Kameni, Cameroon

RB: Eboue, Ivory Coast
CB: Trabelsi, Tunisia
CB: K.Toure, Ivory Coast
LB: ? The Ghana LB?

CM: Diarra, Mali
CM: Essien, Ghana
CM: Zokora, Ivory Coast

CF: Drogba, Ivory Coast
CF: Eto'o, Cameroon
CF: Adebayor, Togo

And a few others....Mido, Geremi, Appiah, Y.Toure, Amoah, Babayaro, Kanu, Mikel, S.Kalou, Pienaar, McCarthy, Diop, Diouf, Jaidi. The only poor area seems to be goalkeepers.

I do agree with this.
I will keep all the Ivory Coast team like that and change Etoo for Kalou and the Gahanian goalkeeper for Tizie...
Well I can't find any good defender to pair with Kolo... Song (of Cameroun) would have been perfect...
