Liverpool gift West Ham 3 goals and then win in the cruelest possible way. Fair play to both teams for making an awesome spectacle in such a prestige competition. Unluck West Ham, congratulations to Liverpool. Up the Reds.

Great game. Best i've ever watched in my 27 years on earth. And that's not just cos I'm a red. West Ham got some lucky goals but played in exactly the right way and I'm as disappointed for them as i'm delighted for our lads.

But really, one man. Reina. Top top top.

You have to remember, if it wasn't for Reina, then we might have won in 90 minutes.

I'm still not certain he wasn't to blame (at least a little) for the first goal. A clearer shout as he came off his line just might have been good enough.

But such a good game to watch, especially for us Reds of course! Still preferred the 3-2 against Everton though.

penalties are a lottery. a replay yes would have been fairer but if west ham were better they would have won in 90 minutes.
You've got a great young british side. You'll do major things in years to come, i can see.
Don't be bitter about pens. Your boys have just help make the best fa cup final in at least 50 years. Even if you didn't win, try to enjoy that.

Can we please have commentators who won't wet themselves everytime Liverpool score? Please get rid of those two muupets, practically wishing Liverpool to find an equaliser from somewhere. Let's have some neutral commentary please.

Cracking game though.

The referee gives a talk to both goalkeepers...Presumably about staying on their lines...Then Reina saves 2 penalties coming off the line and nothing is said or done about it...That's the kind of things that will always give less chances to the underdogs...Well done West Ham, you gave it a good go. Congrats Liverpool, Gerrard's done it again...

With Steve on fire, Liverpool can turn tables. Great game, unfortunately there must be only one winner but West Ham deserved better.

Please, please, Sven, make Stevie G captain of England, instead of Becks; it could make just that bit of vital difference to help us win the world cup!

Totally gobsmaked!! what a game. Anyone have any views on how how many minutes should have been added on in extra time, it seemed that every other minute a Liverpool player had to have someone on to help out with the cramp. And the Harewood was injured surely that added up to more than 1 min.
