having not seen the game it would be difficult to say but I would say Robinson would be pushing him for the honor

It was a dull and boring game as I knew it would be.
It was worrying that Wales had us on the back foot at points considering they are really poor.
We don't seem to be going forward imo

Beckham had a good game on the ball and defended well. So did SWP. Why oh why take SWP off when Lampard was having such a terrible game? It's the worst I have seen him play. At least Gerrard created a couple of chances and tackled back.

I don't think Beckham was amazing. Didn't play any incredible balls, I don't think I saw him make a tackle.
Still, he did a job.
MOTM....I really don't know...
If its gunna go to an English player Wayne Rooney, for being his usual clever self, or Paul Robinson for that save

Beckham was excellent.
'Dull and boring match' is idiot talk for 'England dominated possession but didn't have a cutting edge'.
We dominated possession because of the formation, and Beckham's performance in stopping Wales play through the middle and keeping the ball moving around.
We didn't ahve the cutting edge because we lacked width - SWP drifted in too far and we need a leftie (I'd pick Richardson) on the left.
