They want nothing. Sorted out nice contracts, and that it, back to their old ways...

Remember Celtic lost 5-0 away in the CL qualifier and won 4-0 at home. 4-0 plus the away goal would see you through...

I have changed my name - I had to. There will be alot of frustrated Everton fans, and I feel sorry for them.

when will british teams learn to treat east european teams as more than minnows? everton's humiliation is not just a team in crisis, it's a team with no guidance (the manager is clearly too unexperienced for Europe), lack of creativity (Phil neville??), and lack of any desire. I'm Romanian but I love English football. however Everton played like a Romanian second division team.

I wondered when we were down to 8 men because I could not see how five midfielders could leave so much space for the opposition

The thirg goal was poor (our defence stopped and watched as he shot), the fourth was worse (just look at the casual way Osman trots in to the box and completely fails to pressurise the striker), but the fifth just took the prize. They weren't even trying to attack, they were just playing out time.

Shocking, embarrasing and ultimately nauseating. I feel badly let down and I am so sorry for the 1400 fans out there !

i'm gutted for everton and the fans, i hate seeing english teams play bad in europe. Everton were very unlucky to get such a bad draw in the champs league and now this. I doesnt look like its gona be a good season to me for everton. You should get rid of beattie i think hes a bit average.

And who, exactly, are going to score four goals?
Last night's game followed the exact pattern of the games against Villarreal - Plenty of good quality possession in midfield to begin with but absolutely nothing up front. NOTHING!
It would be nice if Beattie could get fit over the next couple of weeks and start paying back the investment the club have made in him.
The other problem for the home leg is that I just can't see a clean sheet.
Remember Celtic lost 5-0 away in the CL qualifier and won 4-0 at home. 4-0 plus the away goal would see you through...

I'm absolutely made up to be honest!

Everton have been saying that the mighty reds shouldn't be in Europe this year but what a waste it has been having them there!!!

Tottenham, no Wigan would have given it a better go!!

Goodbye and Good Riddence I say. See you lot in 27 years again!!!!
