Statement on official club site giving no reasons. But after the recent results, hardly surprising.

I am not surprised at all.Gazza walked away whilst playing in China & the same in his coaching job at Boston. All just a publicity stunt.Kettering fans deserve better.

Gazza may be interested in the vacancies at Montrose and East Stirling. However I doubt the locals will be much interested in 'daft as a brush' antics and charades.

I think forcing his left back to wear the plastic comedy breasts was the final straw for the board.

Gascoigne has looked really well during all his recent press interviews, certainly not the gaunt look that you would imagine someone who was back on the pop would have. Apparently from other threads, he has turned up drunk a couple of times to training, which may be the reason.....

This is what happens when people treat football clubs as their own personal plaything - the fans always come off worse. I hope everything works out for Kettering in the end.

he didn't walk away from this one, he was pushed. The problem with Gazza is his communication skills, ITV had him as a pundit for the World Cup and when they realised he coudln't string a sentence together sent him off to talk with fans instead of reviewing matches.

I like Gazza, he is a good bloke and had bags of talent. Unfortunately he isn't management material, and this isn't about fame for him. He genuinely loves the game but there is no longer a role for him in it at any level...sad really.

Nothing to do with fame. There seems to be a bit more to it than "he walked"

Just because you have done something wrong it doesn't mean you can't be considered a 'good bloke' If you show no remorse then perhaps that is different..... and I'm not condonong wife beating in any way, but get off your ivory tower...

The facts remain that all in all, Gazza is a decent bloke, just misguided sometimes and a bit daft and has made some wrong decisions in his time...
