All the Ukraine discusses it, but the news is not in English anywhere. I translated the issue, it can be found here http://zoyashu.blog.com and http://newsinukraine.blogspot.comPlease, pay attention to this brutal violation of human rights Sat 27 Jun 2009 14:55:11 GMT+1 iantoffee http://www.bbc.co.uk/blogs/ipm/2009/06/your_news_13.shtml?page=13#comment6 Used iplayer for the first time this week. Fri 26 Jun 2009 22:41:55 GMT+1 skintnick http://www.bbc.co.uk/blogs/ipm/2009/06/your_news_13.shtml?page=8#comment4 Have I nderstood right? Ed Milliband on Radio4 tonight (9.30pm or so) says that the PM's proposals for the Copenhagen Climate Conference in December are based on plans to help fund the developing world to structure their economies on a "different growth curve" to that followed by the developed world. That is, something other than capitalism? How very strange! Could this be an admission from one of the Labour mafia that the establishment fetish about the current (growth) model is precisely what created the problem in the first place? And they expect that developing nations bear the brunt of the inevitable sacrifices? My first reaction is to see this as a countinuation of the imperialist self-interest which underpins globalization - it must be more subtle than that?Whatever, we must surely first put our own house in order?
