Why, hello there and welcome to my dump on the BBC's wonderful DNA Hub. Basically, I'm a sort of Gregory Stott thing and, at the risk of stating the bleeding obvious, I'm a researcher for h2g2. My researcher number, for quick and easy reference, is 944960.
You may well not be asking who I am. I'm not entirely sure myself, so we might just skip that. You might realise at this point that I'm not very good at writing introductions.
I've been a researcher at the Guide for a few years now, although this profile isn't my first as I lost my username and password for my previous account. I don't really have many friends at h2g2 and my only conversations have been about long-gone vinyls.
I'm obsessed with a great many things, most of all Doctor Who, which has absorbed me since I was very young. I've a large collection of Doctor Who merchandise - books, toys, music and even an incredibly extensive collection of the theme in all its various terrific versions.
I'm also reasonably obsessed with The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy, hence my joining up here; the BBC, especially Radio 4 and BBC7; and the English language. I've been known to correct people's pronunciation, grammar and spelling on many an occasion. I also snap when I see "should of" and people who have no idea what the words "whom", "have" or "plural" mean.
I'm a pianist and a violinist (although I've only played the violin for a couple of years now) and have been trying my hand at composing for some time, although I'm pretty crap at it. I'm a big fan of radio and my favourite network is Radio 4.
And that's me in a nutshell. Don't hesitate to contact me, but, from prior experience, I know nobody will. You can also find me at the Outpost Gallifrey forums and all disreputable workstations.

This is where any Journal Entries would appear, if this Member had made any. Unfortunately they haven't managed to write anything, which is a shame because their Journal is where they could tell everyone what they've been up to. Is your Journal empty too? If so, this is how it'll appear to other Members who visit your Personal Space.
