GuideML: GUIDE Tag

The <GUIDE> tag denotes the start of a GuideML entry, and the </GUIDE> tag denotes the end. It is very similar in concept to the <HTML> tag in HTML.

Please note that this tag is inserted automatically by the article editor when you change the style of your entry to GuideML. You should not insert this tag yourself into articles, and you should not change the structure of your article, or you will have serious problems. This tag is only documented here for completeness.

Syntax and Usage

The following structure shows how the <GUIDE>, <INTRO>, <BODY> and <REFERENCES> tags fit together. Optional attributes are shown in italics.

<GUIDE>

<INTRO>
...intro text...
</INTRO>

<BODY>
...entry body...
</BODY>

<REFERENCES>
...references...
</REFERENCES>

</GUIDE>

Known Issues

None.
