The day the content returned! At last all our "Legacy" postings are back. The ones the Moderators never got round to looking at should even have all the original links intact... Sadly, that can't be said for those that were Modded in the gap between Rupert and the restoration of links earlier this year - those are gone forever. cry Still, we can't have everything.

Now all we need is an official way to include our own graphical content on our user spaces and articles... artist biggrin

Bob, Bob, Bobbing along

I was still feeling rough, but a bright point in the day was a visit from Bob, as that gave me the excuse I had been looking for to open my bottle of 12yo Single Malt. cheers

He dropped off a new copy of "NCIS: LA", played with my new Netbook and left with a bag of ground coffee , a packet of biscuits and a seriously raised blood alcohol level. drunk

I watched "NCIS: LA" and gave up on "Species IV". yawn I'm listening to "Bruce Dickinson's Friday Rock Show" on 6Music instead - Tommy Vance he ain't, but then nowadays nobody is. brave

"Bowel stuff"
Yesterday

...to quote the advertisement. The second week on these antibiotics has really messed with my digestion. sadface

Not much else to report, really. When I'm not sitting on the toilet I'm huddled under a quilt in the living room, mostly. brr I suspect it's my failure to properly digest my food that's leading to my inability to generate enough body heat. I'm wearing two fleeces, and I still catch myself shivering. sheep blacksheep silly

I watched "Dexter", "NCIS", "House", "Naked News", "QI" and "Misfits". I'm about to watch "NCIS: LA" and then head for bed. cdouble sleepy "Little Mosque on the Prairie" has made absolutely no download progress. pirate erm

Bob says he's coming round for a visit tomorrow lunch time. cheers senior

Hibernation, continued

I got up, took antibiotics, had breakfast and then huddled down in the armchair under a quilt where I fell asleep for over two hours. zzz erm Then I got up, ate lunch, surfed the web for an hour, took antibiotics and... crawled back under the quilt and fell asleep for another hour. zzz blush I got up (again), had supper, took antibiotics, surfed a while, listened to "The Archers", took different antibiotics, crawled under the quilt and slept for another hour-and-a-half. zzz cross

After that, I watched "CSI: Miami" and "Never Mind the Buzzcocks". online2long My download backlog is building up - I'm *still* downloading "Dexter", along with "House", "NCIS", "NCIS: LA" and "Little Mosque on the Prairie". pirate yawn

I got in touch with Bisset, to see if I could arrange some more box-shifting sessions. I've accepted that my state of health is deteriorating, and I'll probably never finish any of my more ambitious projects or do any serious computer repair in the future. Anything I *do* decide to do would benefit from me having the space to move around, and I'm not really feeling up to doing a massive eBay offering, so much of my "spares stock" is on the way out. wah cry Bisset says he'll get back to me on Monday after he knows next week's shifts. brave

More antibiotics.

It seems I have acquired some new "pets"... A colony of staphylococcus bacteria are nesting in my left foot. brave nurse

In order to evict them I have to undergo another week of two different high-strength antibiotics taken at awkward times through the day. blue

Other than that, my foot looks like it's on the mend. footprints ok I have another review in a week. erm doctor

I watched "Saving Grace", "Ugly Betty", "Samantha Who?", "Film 09" and "The Graham Norton Show". cdouble I'm *still* downloading "Dexter". pirate I recorded the first episode of "Paradox" to watch tomorrow. sleepy

Still feeling a bit rough.

I'm down to one antibiotic now, and that one runs out tomorrow. ok But I'm *so* tired. sleepy

I know, I've been a bit of a dozy git lately, but today was falling asleep as I sat here typing. zzz blush

I've got to go for a wash before I go to bed now, as I have to be up early for another footprints appointment and I don't think I will have the time or the inclination in the morning. yawn

I watched quite a lot of "News 24", "The Gadget Show", "FlashForward" and "Sanctuary". cdouble I'm recording "Without a Trace" and "Saving Grace" angel and downloading "Dexter". pirate
