Tense

Those of you who've read my last Editorial may remember that I like to be prepared when it's to do with the Post, especially so when I'm in charge. This time, it didn't go quite as planned, because my sister visited. We had a great time, but it meant I was behind with my work, and I got just a little edgy. The last two weeks have been quite eventful, there was much more activity in the family than there usually is. I'm looking forward to next week, when both my sons will be on a short holiday, so it will be really quiet here for a few days – time to recharge the batteries.

Although we'll go on a well deserved, so-called Summer Break1 after the next issue, I hope h2g2 will not be quiet.

Today will certainly not be quiet, because it's our lil's birthday. Happy birthday, lil, I bet you'll have a great party!
