how come the game dosen't understand the words:
as
life
also
conect
of
were
how
so
and how come you car't use a lot of nouns
and how come the sentence needs a verb
and then it says when it dose that sentence isn't one i recognise
and how come when i did what hint 9 to11 says on the question on is the spare improbility drive important? why dose it not work when you do it?

This would be something you'd be better addressing to the Radio 4 team - we have nothing to do with the game, I'm afraid (I couldn't get past the Vogon hold).

If you go to the Radio 4 website:
http://www.bbc.co.uk/radio4/hitchhikers/

And then look for 'Contact us' in the left-hand menu (right at the bottom), you'll be able to direct your question there.

You're right, there's a separate message forum for questions about the game, but I want to be helpful anyway:

It's "connect"; perhaps that was just a typo here, but...
"Were" doesn't indicate an action you want the game to take, and you need a verb for the same reason.
I don't know why it doesn't like prepositions, but I don't see why you would need to use any of the other words in the list. If it won't let you do something, you generally aren't required to do it.
