Please note that the BBC is not responsible for the content of any external sites listed.

I created the name xyroth in the 80's as a programmers signature, but it has since become the name I use for all of the creative works that I make.

I am interested in just about everything, so I probably know a bit about any given subject. (well, I try to, anyway), but what else would you expect from a nexialist.

I am trying to keep pescu.net, xyroth.net, xyroth-enterprises and the Real Linux Campaign growing while adding to the guide, so any suggestions for it would be thankfully recieved. You might like to look at the site philosophy, and see what you think.

You can email me and I will try to get back to you as quickly as I can.

In the meantime, I seem to have been adopted as the mage of JLC the TTP

I also aquired musehood, so my other home is a muse home hi there muse mother, so I am now the muse of technomages. I will try to give technomages a write-up soon, but in the meantime try looking at my website, which has some stuff about mages.

In the mean time, mother suggested that I set up a thread to keep you all informed about the new research I'm doing, so here is the new info link.

Mother also pointed out carefully, that although my website had some good stuff on it, the structure was a mess. This is no longer the case, but it still needs ongoing maintainace to the structure as new stuff is added to the site. Please bear with me on this as it takes a lot of work to rework an existing website to have a better structure, but I am doing it slowly. pictures CENSORED by BBC ONLINE and H2G2.

As I am starting to get credits on some of the entries in the edited guide, I decided to create a page so that I could keep track of my contributions

I just got fed up with not being able to remember people's user numbers, and combined with the great h2g2 disappearence, decided to create a page on my site where h2g2 pals can find each other, even if h2g2 is down. magic If you want to be included, drop me an email, with your user number and personal website url, and I will add you to the list.

hecticness (Aug 26, 2005)
I have just noticed that according to the "last posted" entry on my user page, I have "elvised".

This isn't actually true. I am just extremely busy at the moment.

I do keep checking my user page to see if anyone has left me any messages, but don't currently have enough spare time to follow lots of threads every night.

improved health and wealth (May 17, 2004)
As some of you know, my website (http://www.xyroth-enterprises.co.uk/ ) started making some money a while back leading to problems with the DSS.

Finally it is making enough that I have maned to move over from income support to working tax credit, and now no longer have to worry about another case of the DSS getting it spectacularly wrong like they did in october.

Also, I seem to finally be recovering a bit from the knock on effects of october's events, so it's all looking positive again.

biggrin

poor health and lack of replies (Sep 4, 2003)
Due to poor health this last few weeka, and thus not being online much, I have been unable to keep up with reading the backlog and replying to over 150 threads per night.

Hopefully I will be able to catch up when my health recovers, but there is every chance that I will miss some comments in such a massive amount of backlog.

Real Linux? (May 10, 2003)
Have you got fed up of your linux having incompatible formats and patches applied?

well, so did I. So I decided to do something about it, and have now started the "Real Linux" campaign to try and find out what the different distributions do that makes our lives difficult, and publicise the problems, with the hope of either finding solutions or embarrassing them into finding them.

Your feedback will help.

see http://www.real-linux.co.uk/ for more info, or to help.

a new guitar (Nov 21, 2002)
it's that time of year again when everyone insists on trying to make a big thing over when you were born, how old you are, and if you are "past it".

well, I decided to treat myself to a new electric guitar, as I finally managed to find one with a thin enough neck.

not too bad actually, a peavey raptor special.

all I've got to do now is learn how to play the blasted thing silly

anyone got any suggestions of the best stuff to learn?
