So, what's the stuff they add to swimming pools? Why is that not dangerous...

I do remember once being told that the reason for the 'No Smoking' signs at swimming pools... is not the fire risk but that the chlorine in the air, would be burnt (and become toxic) as it enters the cigarette with air. Is there a connection here?

Heh heh. THAT'S why i stay away from pool parties for little kids. xD not only does it make me puke with disgust, it KILLS! lol. (if you get what I mean, good for you. If not, even better. I'm not going to explain, other than an allusion to the "bleach based toilet cleaners" convo.) Oh, and I dunno about the cigarettes on contact with chlorine; makes sense, tho. I mean, You've got the water vapor with chlorine in it, and then you've got hot embers on the end of a stick you breath through. Translates into a very poorly thought through thought (on my part) of chlorine gas? Which segways almost perfectly into another subject. Polluted water vapor+hot cigarette butt=pure pollutants. (again, poorly thought through) But, this means that you're not only getting CO, you're getting other things as well. If I helped, I'm happy. If I confused you even more, take comfort in the fact that you don't know who I am, and forget I ever existed.
