A section of the Pennsylvania Dutch community is being prosecuted in the States for their refusal to put traingular hazard reflectors on their horse drawn buggies;

My father visted Pennsylvania Dutch territory a number of years ago. He was impressed by their quiet dignity and perseverance.
He was also impressed with the film Witness, wherin they Amish are given respect and a genuine point of view, which was very unexpected in a Hollywood movie, I must say.

That part of the state is where I received my last speeding ticket for going 70 in a 55mph zone.

Mind you I was being passed at the time by a tanker truck hauling liquid sulphur. But I guess my speed in a Datsun hatchback was much more dangerous to public safety! winkeye

Those buggies can be frightening if you come upon one after dark on a winding road, but forcing them to do the orange triangle thing is just wrong.
