Hello,
I wrote http://www.dematerialism.net/solarenergy.htm in response to Rick Nelson's claims about SolaRoof at http://www.bbc.co.uk/dna/h2g2/classic/A16815044. Although some of his claims have some basis in reality the reader should not imagine that the SolaRoof is self-sustainable. The structure can supply part, but not all, of its energy needs.
