Has anyone in the northern hemisphere looked out after sunset lately and seen these clouds? This is the first time I have really noticed them looking this good.
I managed to snap some and submitted some photos to http://www.spaceweather.com/ in the hope that they will make it onto the site.

Phil & I saw some of these from our home in Derbyshire in the early hours after midnight one night recently. That's the first time I've ever seen them for sure.

Wow, there are some gorgeous photos on there.
I haven't seen them yet, but I'll keep a look out. Thanks for the tip!
Aren't they brilliant. I will be keeping a lookout tonight and for the next couple of weeks as I am on leave so no w*rk pressures!
I will try some more photography and try and improve on what I have managed so far.

Too many clouds (the grey kind, not the noctilucent kind), both yesterday and today.
Have you had any luck with your photos on Space Weather?
No not yet. Mine were pretty crap compared to what is posted on the gallery though
Too much cloud tonight to see anything interesting. The weather here in Wales has been very changeable in the last 48 hours so I was really lucky to see anything the other night I think!
