Wikiguide is a (potentially) excellent travel guide, and wikiquote aims to source famous phrases from intellectuals and celebrities alike...
Nah, I'd look at h2g2 for a travel guide. It's actual recommendations of places to go definately trump Wikipedia's crappy NPOV descriptions of places.
