The Filet-O-[mystery stuffing.... shrimp?.... just guessing I don't think it actually says. Just some greasy shrimp-and-tartar-sauce-like mush]
Speaking of which... McDonalds has recently had a commercial on promoting their "Samiches". Presumably, you can get them on "Wensdays" in "Febuary"....
Has the entire concept of proper pronunciation in advertising gone entirely out the window? I could understand if one was doing it for an effect. In this case, it is just someone hiring an actress who can't speak English properly.

you know, I tasted a mcdonalds 'cheeseburger' yesterday. And mcdonalds 'fries'.
They both tasted the same.
The only flavour I could truly identify was 'salt'.
To paraphrase Mr. Pollan in 'The Omnivore's Dilemma', it's like they are trying to give you a hint of the Platonic Taste of 'Cheese' or 'Beef' or 'Potato' but only taking you part way there so that you are left hungry for more, or, to put it another way, absolutely dissatisfied, or, to put it yet another way, not lovin' it.
Here is said "Smaiches" ad: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=c74w52F7aA0
Unfortunately, the sound from the TV wasn't as good as I would have liked but I think you get the idea.
Crummolli! "Samiches"! not whatever I typed in the last post. "tis timesheet day. I am a bit punch-drunk.
the ebipuri "Samiches" are basically crushed shrimp (ebi)with a bit of pollock mixed in (sort of like the fake crab legs you sometimes see in the grocery store) They are quite a common thing in fast food joints here.

I can't imagine ever being *that* hungry.
Same goes for McDonalds - ate there once when I was 19 and have never been back.
