Well Hello again... This is a New version of SUDOK42 Puzzle#2 - THE LARGEST SUDOKU EVER PUBLISHED - (in response to The Times suggestion that they published the largest ever Sudoku on 21st Jan 2006). This time it IS possible to solve it (I have spent a couple of days proving this by solving it myself - using a Spreadsheet to help me out... If you wish to get a copy of the "helper" spreadsheet let me know - post your @dress in discussion thread). There are 624 numbers to find to complete the grid. It Seems that the best way to handle the puzzle is to copy the table and paste it to a spreadsheet - THEN change the text format to auto (otherwise, at least if you copy from GOO it uses white on white for the numbers).

You will notice that this is actually the same grid as the original SuDoK42 #2 with about 300 Numbers added back in. For an article about SuDoKu go here: SuDoku

Sorry, Competition over... No winners either... To add a little bit of spice I've decided to turn this into a competition - the first correct solution I receive will get a PRIZE - uncertain what yet any suggestions... The only caveat to this is that 1) Entries MUST be in Excel format (or a csv file), 2) Those requesting my Helper spreadsheet are excluded from the first round of the competition, 3) If I don't get any correct entries by end of September I will allow those that use my "Helper" spreadsheet.
