The finest legal high in the Galaxy

Having just read DNA's eulogy to Tea I thought "Mmmmm nice, but if there is one thing nicer than a cup of well brewed tea, then it is a CUP OF COFFEE!!!!". It has to be, doesn't it! F**k all the refined English/Tea interface: what the "kids" want is coffee. I may be called a philistine but it doesn't matter if it is caffinated or decaf (the caffeine drug itself is odourless and tasteless so it's the beans that bring the taste) but it's the smell of a cup of Java brewing on a Saturday morning that makes the banging hangover/comedown worth it. OK it might make you dehydrate after drinking but you get that little shudder as the black brew rolls down yer throat. At the moment despite my obvious love of the stuff I am trying to cut down (hard to type at work with the shudders) but I have noticed that the less you drink that when you do have a cup it is just that little bit better. I have also noticed that drinking less means that you notice the hit more, especially with instant. Whilst an expresso/filter based coffee has more caffeine than instant I find it smoother whereas instant is a bit rough, so much to my kettle's dismay I have started going for the better quality stuff all round. Well there it is, more of a rant, than a concise journal entry but you have to go with the flow, if you know what I mean. Love'n'hugs Dr. J, The Coffee King.
