BuskingBob

Bob Edwards is BuskingBob, (aka Black Bart after a character in a JT Edson story).

He was born in Newport, Gwent (Wales) at a time when the farthing was still currency and you could get crispy bacon. His birthday is March 24, so if anyone wants to send fine malt whisky....... (this makes him an Aries, and he is a typical Arian in that he doesn't believe in astrology. He does, however, believe in lots of odder things)

Did 23 years as an artificer in the Fleet Air Arm of the Royal Navy, which he left with a handful of rude songs and a bad haircut.

He then spent several stressful years working for a VERY big software firm - one of those that has fountains and statues outside it's headquarters.

Then took a considerable drop in pay to spend a couple of years working on IT in Swansea University, and was VERY happy.

Finished paid work in May 2001 and is now VERY VERY happy.

Can often be found when the weather is good working as a volunteer guide/helper at the National Botanic Gardens of Wales.

En-route through life he has done pretty well most types of jobs to pay for his lifestyle of decadence. He has been known to play “folk” guitar for beer money, particularly late at night when the audience is mellow. Is a great fan of Jake Thackray.

Drives a big motor bike. Be aware that when many men reach a certain "mature" age, they buy the biggest motorbike that they can afford/handle. Their partners, who usually have massive insurance policies on them, look upon this with tolerance.

Journal Entries

This is where any Journal Entries would appear, if this Researcher had made any. Unfortunately they haven't managed to write anything, which is a shame because their Journal is where they could tell everyone what they've been up to. Is your Journal empty too? If so, this is how it'll appear to other Researchers who visit your Personal Space.
