| | Merkin Reality Construct | |
UNDER CONSTRUCTION ![The Revolution will not be Tele-Tubbied. Viva Zaphodistas! A520769.]()
Welcome to the second incarnation of the Merkin Reality Construct. The first construct took a paradigm shift for the worse during Rupert and never quite recovered. History of the Merkin Reality Construct
In the beginning was GOO, and from that GOO emerged the Merkin Relity Construct. The Merkins existed before the GOO, but were dark and unformed. There were many in the GOO before the Merkin Reality Construct, and they looked upon Merkin, and giggled, saying unto it, "You're not taking this all very seriously, are you?". And so it was that the Merkins thrived and created much that was chortling and telling of Limericks...The Righteous Knights of Kettering Ma'huish U'qui Ketyrngh.. Read the remnants of ancient lore of the Righteous Knights. These are all that is left of the multitude of legends and writing surrounding the cult of the Knights. All
In January 2000 I led a contingent of the Righteous Knights in a daring raid on the Kumquat raiders of Mongolia. And now, in May 2001, they return. Alas while they were fighting on the plains of Zmrisgrxkrgrkhlristan, their homes and families were devoured by Rupert. Many knights were lost on the journey home, and many upon returning home to find their homes devastated, took the only route open to a Knight of standing, the Mystical Quest.U49185 - (4+9+1)*(8-5) OR sqrt(4)*(9-1+8+5) OR 4! + 9 *(-1+8-5) = 42

Blimey, you take a quick run down the shops for a packet of pork scratchings and a copy of Farmer's Weekly, and everything disappears! Where'd it all go?
Admittedly, the run down the shops lasted about a year, but that's no reason to go and annihilate my life's works. There gratitude for you. Pah...
Best find out what else has gone awry since my last sejourn in these pages...
Out of Body Message Dec 4, 1999
If you're looking for Merkin, you won't find him here. He's gone to the land of the Berbers to seek out the lost treasures of hte Righteuos Knights. But fear not, he shall return ... oh yes ... he shall return.
Circles Nov 10, 1999
His name was Fleming, and he was a poor Scottish farmer. One day, while trying to make a living for his family, he heard a cry for help coming from a nearby bog. He dropped his tools and ran to the bog. There, mired to his waist in black muck, was a terrified boy, screaming and struggling to free himself. Farmer Fleming saved the lad from what could have been a slow and terrifying death. The next day, a fancy carriage pulled up to the Scotsman's sparse surroundings. An elegantly dressed nobleman stepped out and introduced himself as the father of the boy Farmer Fleming had saved.
"I want to repay you," said the Nobleman. "You saved my son's life."
"No, I can't accept payment for what I did," the Scottish farmer replied, waving off the offer. At that moment, the farmer's own son came to the door of the family hovel.
"Is that your son?" the nobleman asked.
"Yes," the farmer replied proudly.
"I'll make you a deal. Let me take him and give him a good education. If the lad is anything like his father, he'll grow to a man you can be proud of."
And that he did. In time, Farmer Fleming's son graduated from St. Mary's Hospital Medical School in London, and went on to become known throughout the world as the noted Sir Alexander Fleming, the discoverer of Penicillin.
Years afterward, the nobleman's son was stricken with pneumonia. What saved him? Penicillin. The name of the nobleman? Lord Randolph Churchill. His son's name? Sir Winston Churchill.
