So much for my five second account.

Here I am, at school, in chilly St. Louis, MO. Our building heat is off, they are repairing a steam line. A space heater would be a good thing about now.

Computers being a wonderful tool of procrastination, it is probably not to my advantage that my computer is located at my desk space at school instead of at home, seeing as how I spend all my time at school.

Busy days ahead, especially as the semester ticks down to it's ultimate conclusion, only to start the process all over again.

Graduate school - scourge of intelligent procrastinators everywhere.

Ah well.

Another day at work. The weather has gotten hot and humid, as it's likely to do in this part of the world. Work is a refuge from the outside, sealed windows and air conditioning. This is especially attractive when you don't have any AC at home, like myself.

Overtime is a very attractive option.

Aside from the horrid weather, general happiness abounds. Birds keep flying past, the sun keeps coming up in the morning, and a new haircut doesn't hurt.

More eventually.

Work can be fun!
May 17, 1999

Especially if you find ways to be at work while not actually doing work.

Such is my current endeavor.

The rollar coaster of life has been going up and down all weekend, it's almost a relief to come back to work actually.

Forced formality, forced distance and large forced smiles.

It's like disneyland!!

People are such strange animals.
