What?

New, improved and back from the dead

Has anyone seen my old play pals?

My life

"So," you may ask, "where on earth have you been?". "Ah!" I answer mysteriously, tapping the side of my nose."If I told you that then I may bore you."

I then go on to bore you.

Since I was last here I have managed to scrape through a degree in electrical and electronic engineering. Following this I decided to try my hand as a data inputter (I was young I needed the money!). Just when I thought life couldn't get any worse I got my first engineering job. Testing rf signal generators. Sounds technical eh? Yeah and dull too. The fun came in fixing the things.

This takes me up to April of this year where another change of career tack saw me working accounts for my parents business. That's all over now and I'm back to being happily unemployed. How long I can keep this up depends on whether this chair was meant for so much use. Look! It goes up and down!! Wheeeeeeeeeee.

Shopping in London
Jun 29, 2003

Okay, so I went to the meet yesterday yeah. Only I turned up an hour after the meet time (I like to do the fashionable thing). So after pushing through queues of fans (I thought the softball match was taking place in the arena at first!!) and not finding any people resembling a bunch of misfits, I went shopping. Strange how people going to a rock concert look normal when you're looking for a bunch of researchers.
I decided I needed a new squash raquet, my previous one having met with an unfortunate accident of hitting a wall hard. "So," I thought to myself, "I'll just mosey on down to Oxford Street and hit the SPORTS shops." Now call me crazy if you like, but surely sports shops should include maybe a few items of sporting equipment? Nooooo. Silly me. Clothes and trainers only. Sorry!
So to cheer myself up I went and bought a large number of DVDs from a certain purveyor of records, cds, games, videos and dvds. Still haven't got a raquet. Grrrr.

The Simpsons
Jun 1, 1999

I like the Simpsons, but I would like to know what other people think of it, what's their favourite episode, etc. To get it started, I like the one where Homer accidentally skateboards into Springfield Gorge (although it's not my favourite). Now it's your turn....
