Wheres it all gone.
Mar 15, 2001

Well were back safe and sound but its like a different universe.
The F & F has had its name taken away by the moderator police.
All my journal entries are missing and most of my old conversations.
I know these will return it time but its going to be a mammoth task to moderate all the entries from the old site.
I actually think big brother is watching us!!!
I think on the whole we are a sensible bunch of people and I have never seen anything offensive on the site since the beginning.
(I'm either really broad minded or not looking in the right places!)
Anyway if you have ime to stop by open the drinks cabinet and help yourself to a drink ! I'll be back to assist.

Back to School
Sep 6, 2000

Well the holidays are over now and my daughter is back at school.
she really was hyper last night.Funny I can't ever remember being so enthusiastic about going back to school.
I always get a bit down at this time of year as it signifies the start of the long winter nights, cold weather and living in darkness most of the time. The other reason is......Christmas!!!!
For what should be an enjoyable occasion why does everybody moan if you mention it?
Its all got far too materialistic. It costs a fortune to 'celebrate'
Christmas and then you struggle for months in the new year to get straight financially again.
Oh well short of winning the lottery I'll be doing the same thing again.
My decorating is STILL not finished.I will resolve to get this done before Christmas

Boo-Hoo
Aug 31, 2000

My favourite buddy on h2g2 is not going to be around for a while.
Unavoidably caught up in doing really boring stuff like work.
I hope its not too long before we can talk again.....
You know who you are.......................

Happy days
Aug 25, 2000

I had a complete B*****D of a day yesterday but today the sun is shining down on Canary Wharf and I'm having a real brill day. Can't do much work cos my P.C. is still up the creek but that doesn't matter
as I can just surf around to look like I'm doing something.
We went for somewhat of an extended lunchbreak today (1 hr 40 mins!)
Nobody wanted to go back to work.
In 1 hr 30 mins I will be in with the rest of the rat race battling to get home so I'm chilling for the rest of the afternoon.
Have good Bank Holiday all you British hitchers out there!!!
