New Computer
Aug 30, 2005

So after years of saying "soon I will have my very own computer and be on the net and everything" the day has finally come to pass. I got my computer on Friday and my love put it all together for me. Then yesterday we went to Ikea and got some 'some assembly required' furnituere and I put a desk and chair together all (well almost all) by myself.

So now my love can have his own computer back and I can soon be happily playing video games with him, as the computers will be networked together.

Is that romantic or what?

Wedding plans
Aug 9, 2005

OK, got a few things out of the way, hall is booked, caterers run the hall so no searching for one of those, colours and theme are chosen.

Now I just have to start looking for a dress.

Sigh.

This is not going to be fun with the pounds I put on during school.

Ah well, I should be able to trim a bit by the wedding date.

I'm Back!
Jul 10, 2005

After quite a long hiatus I am finally back at H2G2.

Here is a list of everything that has happened since I've been gone.

-I graduated with distinction in my Library Tech program.
-I moved in with the man who was the subject of my last journal entry
-we got engaged (yay!)

Ok, so not everything. Those are the highlights though.

Good things
Mar 12, 2004

Well, I have found myself the man I am going to spend the rest of my life with. He is wonderful and fabulous and everything I want in a partner. love

I have liked him for quite some time but I was kind of dating one of his friends. Then the friend and I decided that it wasn't going anywhere and we ended that. Then (I'll call him T.) asked me out and I said yes. Our first official date was Valentine's day and the romance hasn't stopped since.

School is going well and I hope to be staying in the city over the summer so that I won't lose my place and I can be near T.

I haven't been this happy in a long time. smiley

Birthday
Jan 27, 2004

Well I turn 28 on thursday and I'm not really looking forward to that. I am looking forward to dinner though, my friends are taking me to Olive Garden and I've never been so that sounds fun.

I don't feel 28 and everyone tells me that I don't look it so I'm not too worried on that score, I just feel like a lot of my life has passed me by while I was deciding what to do with it. Now that I have decided it feels a bit better but I still feel like I've missed out on a lot.Oh well, hopefully I have a lot of it ahead of me.
