This Is Me, But Not Really

Okay, so they suggest I write a little "something" about myself so that you, the unwashed masses, can know something about me. Of course, this means taking a complex emotional person and attempting to describe them in short, descriptive paragraphs. A task better left to gifted authors and not to someone who has spent the last three and a half years writing riveting papers on such topics as attitudes about affirmative action and how they are affected by race and class. But here goes: First and foremost, I am a student of sociology. I graduated from Southern Oregon University in June of 2002 with a Bachelor's degree in Sociology and a Bachelor's degree in Spanish. I am now working on my Master's in Sociology at California State University, Sacramento. I am fluent in Spanish and love the language as well as the Spanish culture. I go to Spain as often as I possibly can. So far you know I am a Spanish speaking sociologist living in California.

Okay. I have a cat. I have a fiancé. I play online games. I love The Sims. I am addicted to my computer. I am a liberal. I love Terry Pratchett's books. I am a woman. So, I am an engaged cat loving, Spanish speaking sociologist who uses my computer for the majority of my entertainment. I started visiting H2G2 many moons ago and was an active user until it started to change and then I stopped using it and now I am back. Then I forgot my password and stuff so I re-registered.

And THAT, hopefully, is enough to give you a little idea of who I am. smiley

So...I got married. Aside from that, everything is pretty much the same.
