Galsing Galsing is my on-going personal project, as it were. It is a PHP script that can generate single-page indexed photo galleries, and does do at Tigger.
It has a number of features, listed on its site, most of which can be turned on and off using the extensive set-up section at the beggining of the file. It works completely automatically, only needing to be set up the once. As soon as a picture and thumbnail are uploaded to the relevant directories, they will be shown by Galsing.
It has two different 'modes' that I have dubbed Single Column Mode and Single Image Mode.
Single Column Mode shows the thumbnails down the left of the screen and captions on the right. It is intended to be used for images that have a long caption, as it would look cluttered under the image.
Single Image Mode shows a single large 'thumbnail' at a time. It is intended for use with small numbers of images.
There is also the standard view of a grid of thumbnails
Galsing is based on Gehazi, a similar script created by Tim Packer and Thomas Thurman.
Galsing is short for 'Gallery Single', as it is only a single file as opposed to 15 files for 15 pages of thumbnails for example, and is pronounced 'Gal' as the beggining of 'Gallery' and 'sing' as the verb (to sing).
Feel free to download it if you want to use it, there's a link on it's site. Remember you must have a webserver running PHP 4 or above.

Yay! Apr 23, 2003
I've been collecting the StarTrek Fact Files for the past few years and for, probably, over a month now I've been sorting it into order, since the last issue was released shortly before I started sorting, and as of 1:25am BST today I *finally* finished; completely. Before I split it up to put it into the binders, the pile of all the pages was a foot and a half (45cm; ish) high!
