Nearly 2003...

Hmm, I've been busy lately. Hopefully more Entries to follow soon; in the meantime, hurrah, my "Necronomicon" Entry is with the Editors!

Bulgakov-a-go-go
Nov 11, 2002

Yay, my Entry on Bulgakov has been accepted! (And if anyone's interested, there's quite a lively debate on interpretations of the man's work raging away on the Entry's discussion page.) Hmm, 'Necronomicon' hasn't. Yet. Perhaps there's something more I could/should do to it. Any suggestions, pass them on.

My expansion continues apace, and I'm not talking about my midriff. My second Entry is hovering in Peer Review, and I've just sent my third Entry to join it. Fingers crossed, etc!

Finally!
Oct 21, 2002

Finally, I can log in again! Sassa-frassin' technical difficulties. Sorry to all who may have thought I was slacking off or something. Woohoo, m'first Guide Entry is approved! Much rejoicing and so forth.

Testing... testing...
Oct 11, 2002

Um, golly. I'm new to all this. Be gentle with me.

So this is my first week on h2g2. I've rustled up a quick (I prefer to think of it as "punchy") Entry on the subject of cravats, and submitted it for Peer Review, which has already provided me with some of the most useful, helpful advice I've received. And also plenty of encouraging words, hurrah! I've also written up an Entry on the Necronomicon, which would be ready for Peer Review, except I'm having a perplexing problem with the GuideML, and I've started a work in progress on Mikhail Bulgakov, my favourite dead Russian author. More may yet follow on Viktor Pelevin, my favourite *live* Russian author; Eugene Ionesco, the great French absurdist; Elizabethan scholar Dr John Dee; and anything else I happen to know a bit about at the time.
