Welcome

Welcome to my space.
I'm a not so newie, recruited by my friends at Leisure District
I live in Lancashire but have no interest in either ferrets or whippets. One son, one husband, 2 fishhsif fish (Max & Paddy )and a pot plant called Jeremy (?!?).smiley
Like marmite on toast, red wineredwine ,Phoenix Nights, rollercoasters , Antoine De Caunes and Andrew Lincoln. Dislike The Fimbles(work of the Devil) and spaghetti carbonara.Hobbies include playing "Rat Up A Drainpipe",being flung upsidedown at high speed and eating creme eggs with my little finger. My first crush was Michael Palin and the first record I ever purchased was Captain Beaky And His Band....and I'm sure that a criminal psychologist could come up with an interesting profile on me from this information.
Non Illigitamus Carborundum.

Mid-Life crisis@33
Feb 8, 2003

I think I'm having a mid-life crisis at 33 years old. I think I'm having one on behalf of my husband too......he will be 30 in a few hours time and he's pretty laid back about it. Me, on the other hand......well, I'm not taking it well. In fact, it has to be said, I'm handling it worse than when I turned 30 myself.
I'm having hot sweats at night and raging palpitations during the day. My mind wanders a lot and I've been having some incredibly explicit dreams(usually featuring Antoine De Caunes and ALWAYS including either a piece of fruit....a-hem!)
I have developed what can only be described as a "crush" on a chap I see at work. I find it impossible to communicate with him without a)jibbering like an idiot, b)feeling woozy, c)making a complete ar5e of myself and d)all of the above.
I am seriously considering colouring my hair like Kelly Osbourne's and I burst with pride because my 14year old nephew and his mates think I'm cool cos I have a nose stud.
I am desperate to hold on to my youth.......if only I knew where he was.
Help me?
