Its been a while

Since I did any kind of journal, due mostly to having blogs and the such on other sites...

So a very quick update would look like this:

Sexy RAF man: Was going very well, then he got really quiet and stopped talking to me with no explanation. I was quiet cut up if I'm honest. I recently went to investigate some closure, and it turns out that it was a simple misunderstanding about something I'd said that had hurt him. I really miss him but I don't think he will be in any hurry to see me again... I would be quiet happy to settle for our friendship back though..

My lovely boys: Are exactly that. The youngest is a gorgeous bundle of just absolutely lovelyness... Learning new stuff all the time many attributed to his brothers wide ranging vocabulary... ahem. The eldest is a smelly boy germ and very quickly taking on the 'Kevin the teenager' role in the household.

Me: Goodness knows what I am up to, having a crisis about my career, am just fed up with my current job. Rather than look for something else I may just have a complete change altogther. I've loved the idea of being a midwife for many years, now I'm thinking while the government is prepared to pay my tuition fees this might be the best time to jack this engineering lark in and go for something that could be far more fullfilling.

Moods are up and down, I'd like to think I am mostly cheerful, but I was recently described as being very 'spikey' as in being sharp, noone dare cross me at the moment. I don't want to be perceived as being a b*tch, so I am working on that.

Health is good, am having on-going investigations for my hip and pelvis pain. But had the fantastic news that the lump in my breast was at this point nothing to worry about!

I had a feeling it had passed.....

It looks like I missed my 5th Hootoo birthday last week!

To celebrate I have just spent the funniest couple of hours going through old journals and conversations, at some points having to stop because I was laughing so much!

I just wanted to say a big thank you to everyone that has made me smile over the last 5 years!

I thought this was definately worth a journal entry, I'm not normally one to post about the nitty gritty of my personal life but I'm walking on a bit of a cloud at the moment and it makes such a change to the depressing journals of late!

So it all started with a trip to Blackpool this weekend on a Hen Party...

There were 20 something of us and of that I only knew 4 people, and only 2 of them well. Friday night was good, we went to Funny Girls which is a drag queen caberet show, very entertaining! Did manage to have a transvestite hit on me but hey, what can I say, I'm just obviously irresistable!

Saturday day was c*ap, had a bad day with feeling a bit depressed about various different things, the evening started well (theme was pink and glitter, I was dressed as a bunny girl), but unfortunately my friend (who has a medical condition) had to go back to the hotel with her sister. Which left me with people I didn't really know. But I made a bl**dy huge effort to be friendly and bubbly with the other girls only to be shunned, given dirty looks and pretty much ignored for the entire evening.

So I made my own entertainment...

And when I'd had enough of dancing on my own with random strangers I got the hump and got a taxi back to my hotel.

Now that is where the fun really started!

I was sat in the hotel bar with a face like thunder, drinking vodka and diet coke, when I hear in a broad geordie accent 'Hey Bunny Girl..... BUNNY GIRL...'..........'OI SACHA, COME AND SIT WITH US!'.

A group of 15 geordie lads that were on a stag weekend (one of whom I had chatted earlier with) were bekoning me to join them, how could a girl refuse!

We had such a laugh, at one point I thought I might actually wet myself!

Anyway they all filtered off one by one and I was left with a lass and lad then joined by three rather tasty RAF guys. The officer was very fit, and cutting a long story short, he gave me exactly what I have been looking for..... Not what you might think, but its been so long since I have been told I am beautiful, and interesting yadda yadda yadda. I was so grateful for the attention! Now I am not naive, he can frankly pick up any girl he wants, and I presume with a face and body like his he probably does. But for a couple of hours I felt attractive and affectionate again for the first time in years. More interestingly s*x was not part of that equation.... (ok I lie a little bit, funny things done with champagne and an interesting shower but no *actual* wobbly bobbly )

Alas I shall moon over him for some time having been to shy to give him my contact details, now of course wishing I had, but its probably for the best...

So the part of me I found was a little of my old self confidence, and feeling worthy of another human beings amourous attentions

I will be on this cloud as long as my memories do not fail me!

I thought it was about time I started a less depressing journal and it needs to encompass a few things and for those of you confused about the title, well I'm getting to that so just be patient!

Little bit took his first 'proper' steps on his on on 12th March! it was very exciting, I know the trouble starts now, so I'm taking advantage as much as I can that he's not zooming around the house like a lunatic yet with his brother!

Elder poppet is doing really really well in school, I'm very proud of him at the moment, I had the best Parent-teacher night ever!

Finally with current events (as in despressing journal ) I decided that I needed a hobby and a focus, and after seeing the Cancer Research Race for Life on the TV I had an Epiphany!

I have been touched by cancer in many different ways, family and friends in the last three years, my Nan who is my heart and soul is recovering from Breast Cancer Surgery (lost 1 breast), my mother in law who is recovering from surgery from skin cancer, my father in law who is currently undergoing treatment for prostate cancer and my best friend... who for those of you who know who know what she's been through will be astonished to learn that both my nan and herself will be joining me in the Race!! She's recovering from extensive surgery for a brain tumour and faces further treatment and surgery in later years.

Emotional and online support required as well! especially when I start complaining about blisters in the build up to the race!

Any offers of massages for aching feet also gratefully received!......

I've got quite a few ideas for raising sponsorship but anyone else got any ideas?.... I was thinking of trying to auction one of 2legs's thongs...

Possibly the worst day of my life.

My husband has been cheating on me.


It has been going on for a number of years.


I am so very very relieved that the suspicions and heartache I have had have now been proved right. That may sound weird to some of you but the point is I was at my lowest point. And I thought it was all in my head.

But its not. I didn't have proof. But I got him to finally admit it and tell me everything.

Its vile.

Words cannot express the way I am feeling at the moment, I have so much information to process I don't know where to start.

So sorry for traumatising people with this unfeeling but weirdly informative journal but sad as it is you are my only lifeline at the moment. And I need to cling to something..
