Done. No more writing 1667 words every day. Now that I don't have to write maybe I can finish the h2g2 article I was working on...
 
What has been going on?

Well, I go away for a few weeks and the moderators leave, new features come into use and the old entries get unhidden. Maybe I should take more hiatususes. It seems to do h2g2 a world of good.
Has there been any other big changes?
In my time away I've been writing a novel in a month. I have no idea why, it's just a challenge. I'm still a few thousand words off my goal of 50,000 words but I'm way ahead of schedule so National Novel Writers Month (www.nanowrimo.org) has been a success for me at least.
I have been writing through all of my free time though. On the stupidest damn thing ever to be released from my mind. And I wrote a list of types of boredom! I love it, writing it is among the best things I have done with my time in years.
I wish I could have stayed here and written at the same time, but it just didn't work out. It was this or sleep.

Anniversary

Today is the 1st August 2002. Last year on the 2nd August 2002 I came to h2g2 for the first time while looking for pictures from the Hitch-Hiker's Guide To The Galaxy TV Show.
Tommorrow is my h2g2 one year anniversary. It's a pity it's also the start of my vacation. I'll be in Milton Keynes and Oxford for the week. I'll try to be on h2g2 as much as possible. But I'm not sure how much that will be.

Exams

Sorry if I've not been around enough recently, I'm going through exams so I've had to work pretty hard. It's been difficult to keep track of everything on h2g2 in the amount of free time I have.
Also I decided to keep a web journal. I enjoy that and its very rewarding. Although the site takes up a lot of my free time. Today I finally got around to doing some of the tasks that I've been putting off doing on h2g2 so hopefully I'll be able to spend more time here.
