Man oh man has it been eons since I've looked at my page. I just seemed to have lost my niche here and college, well, let's just say it took up some time, shall we? I'll reintroduce myself.
My name is Megan. I'm 19 and am currently attending summer school (speech, blech) at IUPUC. In the fall, I'll be starting my second year at Purdue University. Right now, I'm an undecided science major after a disasterous try at computer science. If all goes well and my speech grade and credit transfer, I will change into freshman engineering as soon as the fall semester starts. Then, with a 2.7 GPA, I can get into my engineering discipline, electrical engineering.
Right now, I've managed to find a little work in my hometown that isn't fast food, thank God. I'll be a lab assistant from 12-5 on Saturdays at IUPUC until I move back to school. Once I get to school, I'll be working (after the first few back to school rush weeks of 20-30 hours) a min of 8 hours a week for ResNet, the people who deal with all the internet and tech support stuff on Purdue's campus. Woo woo.

I think a miracle may have occured at my house today. I actually finished a sewing project without having to rip out my seams a bazillion times or bleeding to death. I am now the proud owner of a homemade denim skirt  From slightly too tight pants to a cute skirt. Now all I have to do is hem that curtain that's been hanging around unfinished for a couple weeks...

Well, I finally decided to come back to h2g2 after an extended leave. I needed something kind of geeky to do, and since I'm short on cash, surfing the web is the best I can do  I've also been rather crafty feeling lately, so I made some cool magnets and I'm working on crocheting a scarf as we speak. The scarf isn't quite even, but I'm going to be the one wearing it, so oh well
