Omylice

For those poor souls out there who aren't sure what an omylouse is I will tell you....

An omylouse is a small creature, similar to spiders or insects, which lives on graphs. It has a small round body usually with an X on its back, 6 legs and antenni (of course).

There is another omylouse on here so if you see her say hi as omylice are very friendly little critters! biggrin

Omylice were first noticed on graphs, often of physics or biology results, but their origin is still unclear. When dormant they tuck in their legs and antenni and appear as circled points on the graph, hence the common lab expression "An omylouse result"! winkeye

Sub-species

Omylo physicalis ~ These are commonly found in physics labs & are often labelled as the friendliest as they can often be persuaded to move to the correct location on your graph.

Omylo biologus ~ These are solitary, non-conformist omylice. Commonly found and generally hard to move as their origins are often biological. The best solution is to ignore these creatures if and when encountered.

Omylo chemicus ~ Unstable and therefore unpredictable creatures who inhabit the potentionally dangerous world of the chemists.

Omylo mathemarlis ~ Rare omylice which are easily confused. They are often the results of a calculation error.

Thankfully all previously encountered omylice are friendly. *phew* Tho there may b some annoyed scientists out there who disagree! winkeye

If more information is desired (or you have too much spare time on your hands) feel free to seek out the omylouse formally-known-as Saffron.

Some useful advise...

Don't Panic!

The lightbulb joke in its many forms
Falsie or rather Sir TB Falsename of Cunninglinguist aka stercusstercusstercusmoritussum, keeper of doing what every one does, except for the people who dont do it, as not every one does it, and if they did it would be quite aggravating as to do it constantly means the you go on and on and so doing it like this can eventually lead to people getting quite angry, but you dont realise, because you too busy doing it, and eventually someone will get too fed up with you doing it and will shout, probably down your ear, that you should, in their oppinion, JUST GET TO THE bleep ing POINT!

Roo, aka fairy aka hookerelf aka Nancy aka RuBP aka Rubisco, Muse of Agar Minions, Patrick's angel , orangebutterfly , transparentnurse ,.......

St Patrick, the happy Patron Saint of Depression, Muse of Painters, owner of Elanor & a very good friend!
