Well..it happened..I let microsoft controll my computer again..after (estimated) 1 year of LINUX I'm back again..
It all happened when I got myself a new pc since my old one just died.
My homemate put on RedHat on the new one, like he did on his own. I formerly used Debian, so it was a little change, I had to get used..but I could't get used to the windows-like odd things the system had. I got all confused...the computer resetting itself..like my pc was in a AI-project..
I got my questions with the new RedHat and when my homemate changed back to Debian on his own computer (he didn't dare to tell me) I made my decision to switch back to microsoft-windows..
I'm not a computer nerd at all, so microsoft is nicely graphical, and ideal for me. It is true that after having installed windows, I already had my first little crash (brings back memories..) (and I got also really creepy by the advice of microsoft: if the program isn't working, you can just switch off and on again your computer..that will do the trick! -aaaargh!!) and it took me a while to get used to it again. But now I'm glad, 'cause this is so much easier to deal with. LINUX is all unknown territory for me. It has it's benefits: everything I could do, I could do very good. It has extra gadgets you never hear about at microsoft's products. The I Love You virus was a laugh!
So I'm back to windows and checking it all out..big fat chance you get across me while I'm resetting my territorium, since the internet has now all kind of interesting programs again for me to download..

MY CAMPINGFLIGHT TO LOWLAND'S PARADISE !!!

UUUUUUUHHHH! I just flew back from the camping of Lowlands! I have just finished scrubbing off the dirt and mud from my shoes so that I can spend the whole evening at McDonald's, bringing up memories and get sentimental...while eating junkfood that is even worse than the food they serve at Lowlands (RONNIE KOEBRUGGGGGUUUHH!!)
It was just last night 6 am when I was banging my pan to hell, joining the percussion group at camping 3 (yes, that was me also). I screamed my lungs out all three (actually 4) days long, singing along with James Brown (our neighbours made us very happy by playing three songs of Mr. James on and on and on and on and on...) HIT ME! GET ON THE SCENE!! TAKE IT TO THE BRIDGE ...James Brown plus our neighbours were a bridge too far, I guess....
OK, that anger is out!
I didn't see so many bands as I'm used to, we mainly made fun at the campingsite and the rest of the Lowlands-terrain. I did go see De Kift (so-o great!), Blink 182 (I got curious when the singer pronounced he was about to prostitute himself...nothing happened), Osdorp Posse (just a little part of the concert, but nice!), Yonderboi, Immortal (OH MY GOD!! I never had such a great laugh in my life), Shelter, Guano Apes (well, heard them, couldn't see them from my spot), Green Lizard, Dr. Ring-Ding, Ween (they are fantastic PIEP SWIEP BEEEEEEP), Krezip (not my cup of tea, but great how a 17-year-old can make such a show), Limp Bizkit, Pietasters (hm...yuk). Come to think of it...I saw a lot of bands! And that's what it's all about, uh?!
I smoked and drank the crap out of myself during the festival. But I really don't mind that much anymore..
Strange how I'm back home again, already behind my pc again...I'm gone!

I just added more colo(u)r to my homepage...I thought..I had other linkcolours in mind, but h2g2 is apparently not happy with people wanting to change their colours, so they put an end to it! I couldn't believe when I saw that only the headers changed colour!! First I thought it was me...I checked the html codes through and through...nothing wrong with it!! Or is it?? Please, somebody, when you read this, view the page source and tell me I did it okay, will ya??!!! Thanx!

Then: I had tooo much to drink last night. The introductions for new students began yesterdaynight. Every year again, Nijmegen is covered with young and old students who are lost, whether that's because they just don't know the way yet, or they are bloody drunk!!
I know I'm not a student anymore, so wisely I should keep myself away from all that drinking and party-ing...but I'm not wise...
So that's why there's something going on in my head right now, that has something to do with hammering and constructions...and my stomach feels like I swallowed stones...

Remedy: in a minuite I ride to the supermarket and buy all ingredients for LASAGNE WITH SPINACH AND TUNA !!!!
hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm...I can't wait!! Some milk at the side of that and I'll feel better in notime!

ok...
so I didn't get the job...too young, too inexperienced, oh well..
as a consolation I work there now to fill in hours. They even want to give me a contract for half a year! How great...
how wonderful, how magical, how beautiful, how touching, how nice of them!
I give up...I expect to much!
AAAARGH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
and I even got a new job interview tomorrow!
With renewed hope I look forward and face my potential new chefs...

It's almost 12 o' clock...I'm listening to the radio, I'd rather not listen as they only submit crap (like a veeeery old song from Bjork). I wanted to put on a CD but I can't think of one interesting right now...I have that problem a lot!
Outside my homemates are having a good time..weather is getting better and it allows us to sit outside. My problem is that when I hear others having a good time, I wanna join it..but I don't exactly know who they are (though I tried to sneaky look out of the window without them noticing me..)..and the fact that I have to get up early tomorrow to check out the New Job! I'm very nervous about it..oh no, I shouldn't.
Thankfully my boyfriend has just come online on ICQ! I have problems getting my messages through on ICQ..maybe it has something to do with the fact that I run LINUX and ICQ is GnomeICU for me...I had the same problem when I used BitchX...I couldn't chat with people running Windows...and that is almost everybody...bweh!
12 o' clock...Hm..I did this in less than 10 minuits!! Great...I'm defenitely good in one thing: typing! hehehehe....
