Yeah, I know I haven't been around h2g2 much lately, though it's been great seeing so many of you over on my 'casa az' blog.
I thought it might be a good idea to start a journal entry for random chat or whatever, for hootoo friends dropping by who might like to say hello.
So help yourself to
or
, give the cats a snibble, and make yourself at home.
If anyone is curious about the cancer thang, please check this link for all my cancer-related blog posts first. I don't mind talking about it, but a lot of it has already been said.

In case anyone has been wondering why I've been even more absent than usual lately you can read all about it in the next post (didn't want it taking up my whole PS).
It's so good to be home again!

the Sevilla tapas blog
Aug 15, 2007
This is a personal collection of some of my favourite restaurants and tapa bars in Seville.
http://sevilletapas.wordpress.com/
The blog is set up so that each restaurant and tapa bar has its own archive page, which can be found on the drop down categories menu in the sidebar.
Comments and queries can be left on the various posts.
Or else here, if you prefer.
Enjoy

casa az - my new weblog
May 2, 2006
During yesterday's BLACKOUT I decided it was a good time to start my own weblog . . . and so here it is:
http://azahar.wordpress.com
I'm still trying to get the hang of how it all works and also figure out what I actually want to do with it, so it's still a bit bare. But please feel free to pop in and say hello.

Mini-meet in Seville?
Aug 11, 2005
Noggin and I are thinking about organising a 'weekend getaway' mini-meet in Seville for sometime next spring. There should be fairly inexpensive flights at that time and there is also a cheap & cheerful pension at the end of our street (20 euros a night per person).
The general idea is that people would come in on Friday evening and we would all go out for tapas (perhaps to two or three different tapa bars).
Saturday could be a 'sightseeing' day (with Noggin and me as tour guides) and in the evening we could meet for dinner and then go out to a local bar. Then Sunday brunch and home again.
We were thinking sometime in March would be best in terms of weather (April is too crazy here because of Semana Santa and the Feria).
So let us know if you are interested, which dates would be best for you, etc. etc . . .

February 28 - second anniversary
Feb 28, 2005
Today is my second hootoo anniversary (and I even got the date right this time!
)
This seems like a nice day to celebrate knowing you all. And it's funny to think that last year when I wrote my first anniversary journal entry I had no idea that by the next one I would be happily living with Noggin.
Yet another reason to be grateful to DNA.
So . . .
anyone?
