Oh was this on the new wonderous tablet? bigeyes

I was wondering about the .. erm ... medium the grass was done in it looks like sweeps of felt-tipped pen, but I thought, it can't be that, but I was stumped.

I think aurora look just fabulous, having them cast behind the telegraphs just suspended in the air, I can't say thank you enough that's exactly how I pictured it!

With the eye following the telegraph polesu in, like they are the dominant thing in the frame, but the central part of the image is what is going on in the background which the telegraph poles draw your eye towards and then up

magic .

>>Good luck paring it down<<

I figured in Peer Review is good for anything it will help knock all this research into something readable.

I've tried to make it readable in the sense that each part supports the progression towards the whole but it's more like one of the old-time h2g2 university projects not a neat and tidy guide entry but a project.

Eventually I just stopping worrying about how it was all going to fit. Cross that bridge when I come to it, best bet was to just write and write and write until I had covered everything I wanted to say.

laugh Yes, I was experimenting with the tablet. Blobs are better for that than comics; there's no one style you have to stick to, since they all stand alone. artist

Ok, so I'll save it for PR, but I can guarantee they'll say it's too long and should be split up. The University is still a possibility, too. smiley

I anticipate that. smiley

It's the how and the where and which bit belongs above the cut and which bit below it and how to integrate it when it *is* split up.

All fun and games to come; like I said little point worrying about that while I was writing else I'd never have got started.

(And as it turns out Telegraphy is a really deep subject with lots of fascinating baubles of interestingness in - and auroras are like way cool. cool and I'm worse than a magpie when it comes to shiny baubles. disco

Ok. Just thought it'd be better to forewarn you.

(Or does "To infinity and beyond" apply to the entry, as well? tongueincheek )

I find leaving out interesting factoids to be the most difficult part of entry writing myself. My sympathy!
