As a Pagan I have to say I found this entry laughable. Does the author actually know the slightest thing about Paganism?

On A guess I would say 'no'. Although it's not unlikely they've been reading *shudder* Llewelyn books.

What a complete pile of codswollop. How on earth is the BBC allowing itself to be associated with this sort of misinformation.

Your site is hugely insulting and verges on defamation in places. I would advise going back to the drawing board and learning somemore.

This entry is intended as an index to other entries on witchcraft topics, not to cover the topic in any depth. The great advantage of this system is that you like I can create entries, and I will look forward to hearing what entries you have written so that I may include them. I have made no attempt to sort out good from bad, just to index information.
As to your own opinions on the depth of knowledge of individuals, perhaps a little more research would make you realize the error of your statements. There are many paths, most completely tolerant of others, and perhaps if the path you have created is different you should tell us about it

Diversity within the craft

As anyone with some experience of the craft or pagan traditions in general will know, there is considerable diversity between different groups, and some people will have different views to that held by others. I am pleased to say that most pagans are extremely tolerant of other beliefs, and few of us would suggest ours is the best or only route, even under a label or group heading.

If your view of a group or topic area is different, then why not write up an article on your groups or your views, so that we can all see the diversity. If on the other hand you are quoting from what you were told on some course at UNI, or read in some Christian handbook, then perhaps it might be a good idea to follow up a few links and read a few web sites from different traditions first.

I want to encourage everyone to write up what they believe, or if its something within your family what has been handed down. There is nothing wrong with diversity; none of use should believe our way is better than any other, and you are just as welcome to your beliefs as anyone else, even if you decided on them 10 minutes ago.

Well the part that says "The organisation all the paths and covens, plus some individuals belong to is the Traditional Craft Association" just isn't true.

Researcher 204704,

I am open to correction, can you tell me of traditional groups that belong to another organisation and how I can find out more on them. Since I wrote this article I have come across one person who told me of some groups that are preservationists that class themselves as traditionals, and have a format they have deduced locked in a pre Celtic time frame. He has promised to pass on my details for them to contact me. I have not heard from them at this time.

This index page is by necessity very brief, I will create a specific longer entry on traditional witchcraft, covering all views that I am able to follow up.

Can you give me examples, and better still web sites on them so that I can follow up on their beliefs.

I am going to produce an article on different craft forms (classification), so would welcome your input on this, for now I have modified the simple definition I had ion the index page.
