This is in a similar vein to Barbara Follett's and Syd Rapson's complaints; it was jusged that Mr Owen should have checked the accuracy of the silly things he was being asked to repeat. The fact that he didn't check was his own fault, and therefore any ridicule he receives is also his own fault. Good.
