Subject: Christians and the numbers that their God has killed...

Yes I know contraversial, but my memory for the other thread ran out, so I can't contribute to that one anymore.

Lets not forget, that Christians have killed far more people for far less in the past. Starting with Holy Wars - designed to eradicate those who didn't believe in the same God as theirs. It is after all in the Bible (somewhere) it does state that it is OK to go off, take over a land and slaughter all those who don't believe in your God, because they are consorts of Satan. I remember quite distinctly the illustrated book I received one Xmas, chock full of death and war. Moving on, we have the Witch Trials. Yes, that WAS Christianity that raped and tortured young girls. Other things we could shove on the pile of Christian Crimes, include harbouring and not-exactly-condemning Nazi criminals, burning/witholding great books, child abuse (funny how they lodge lots of molestation accusations against parents. teachers and Satanists but actually turn out to be more likely to abuse a child themselves), murder (how many morons have been given access to the "truth" and gone around eradicating the Devil?)...the list could go on and on.

However...this isn't a rant against Christians. Like Satanism, I believe many parts of Christianity has grown up (OK so it's taking a while, but I believe they are getting there slowly), even though in my belief it still remains a haven for the stupid. But for a religion (and I don't even want to go down the Muslim path right now) that does nothing but preach, oppress, be self-righteous to the point of frustration and be so widespread, there are a hell of a lot of crimes and flaws beneath their belt that are PROVEN (because 99% of alleged Satanic Ritual *crimes* HAVE been professionally discounted as nonsense - see Prof. Jean La Fonatines book for the evidence/analysis) and yet remain hidden.

Strange how things work out. Christians being exposed as the true dark side, and Satanism sitting back in it's honesty. Of course...that's only my opinion. I'm biased...of course... smiley

Yeah, there is an irony. Of course, the righteous preachers would of course accuse abusing priests as being closet satanists (some even write off the whole of catholicism as being a satanist front organisation or some such drivel). There's no talking with some people. Or rather, no listening.

Ah voracious language and the trouble it and a strong opinion can get you in.

Apologies to the h2g2 community & all that were obviously offended. I obviously had no proof of the Pope's toilet habits, and every single particular of Christian's daily lives.

Nonetheless, my point still stands about the hypocrisy!

You know, I can't actually remember what you said - though I don't think it was particularly offensive, and I remember wanting to reply when I was less busy...
If you don't mind, could you mail to h2g2@myreddice.co.uk for me?

Cheers smiley

I think it was more the reference to the Pope's toiletary habits that did it. Which WAS a pretty fair guess, considering his state of health. But ah.

If it was just because I was offering a reasonably controversial opinion about Christianity (which I extend to quite a few other religion, including Islam, the Jewish "faith" etc etc) then I will lodge a complaint. Won't be censored, no siree-bob...

Can't quite remember what I said now. I'm sure we could continue the conversation here, but with less
"offensive" (I hate that term) references. Unless I'm completely misreading the request for an email. My communcation skills are severely down at the moment...
